Vachetta leather is the name of Italian vegetable-tanned leather. Brands such as Coach and Louis Vuitton often use it for their luggage and luxury handbags.
At first, vachetta leather has beige colour. It will age along the year and usage, creating a darker shades of brown from the patina.
I used this type of leather to create the following Japanese-inspired satchel. I think it really has that perfect combination between form and color.
